If you experience a problem with your occupational therapist you should try to resolve the problem at a local level by contacting the relevant the Trust or Local Authority
However, if you are not satisfied with the outcome and wish to take a complaint further you should contact the Health Professions Council (HPC). Its website contains information on how it handles allegations against registrants. You will be required to fill in a form for your complaint.
Occupational therapists whose names are removed ('struck off') from the Health Professions Council register will be deemed members not of good standing and steps will be taken to revoke their membership of the British Association of Occupational Therapists.
